Welcome to 2018!  I don’t know about you but I’m excited about the potential this year has to offer.  We leave 2017 with optimism and confidence.  Texas continues to prove to be a great place to do business and the future looks bright for the state.  We have a fabulous and phenomenal team in place here at The CFO Suite for which I’m proud to be a part of.

2017 was a great year for our firm.  We continue to grow and add new amazing people.  We expanded our client base and delivered exceptional service to our clients!  Once again we were part of The Dallas 100™ and were also able to work within our community.

Sarah Collins & Kelly Rao

Sarah Collins joined us as a Recruiting Manager in our Houston office during 2017. She has specialized in all aspects of Sales & Recruiting, specifically for Accounting & Finance positions, for 6 years.  She was a top producer at her previous role, winning multiple sales awards as well as the firm’s highest Outstanding Service Award in 2014 given to the company MVP for that year.

Sarah’s main focus has been within the Oil & Gas, Energy, E&P and Real Estate Industries in the Houston area as well as outside of Texas.  Prior to her Executive Search career she enjoyed successful Business Development roles within the Hospitality and Oil Industries.

Kelly Rao joined us as a Recruiting Manager in our Dallas office during 2017.  Kelly brings over 20 years of extensive experience working directly with C-level executives within finance, marketing and business growth and development.

Kelly began her career in Executive Search in 2015 where she quickly became a valued business partner, helping companies of all sizes source, attract and hire top talent to gain competitive advantage and fuel company growth.  Her years of marketing experience provide a unique ability to effectively communicate with clients and candidates alike, resulting in superior service.

The Arts of Healing Foundation Event Thursday, November 9th Sponsored by The CFO Suite – Houston

Scalpels, stethoscopes and lab coats were put away as physicians of the Texas Medical Center showed their artistic side in November all in the name of charity.  More than 25 physician musicians, tequila masters, and visual artists presented their art, sharing an often-unknown side of themselves. The arts presented served as a bridge, deepening the connections between doctors and the community in which they practice.

“The Arts of Healing” is a one-night convergence of art and medicine, sponsored by Houston’s River Oaks District & PaperCity Magazine. With a goal of raising $100k this year, the foundation anticipates 80% of the proceeds to be donated to local Houston Pancreatic Cancer Research and the remaining 20% to be donated to PanCan. It is a unique opportunity for physicians to share of themselves through their art, to convey unspoken words and to give back to the community.

In September Entrepreneurs For North Texas hosted its 16th annual Freedom Day, a community service event honoring the lives lost and those forever changed by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We were excited to join over 750 volunteers from over 55 organizations that worked at 17 different project sites across DFW and partnered with 12 different nonprofit organizations and 11 Veteran organizations to host these volunteer projects and create impact at nonprofits across North Texas.

to Benefit The Center for Hearing & Speech

All roads lead to creativity when over 200 artists converged on the streets to celebrate the artistic spirit of Houston. After eleven successful years, the Via Colori® Street Painting Festival has grown into one of Houston’s signature art events and it remains the only street painting festival in the region.

All proceeds from Houston Via Colori benefit The Center for Hearing and Speech, a local non-profit that serves children with hearing loss.
