03 Feb Corey Allen – Associate Director of Advisory Services

The CFO Suite is excited to announce the addition of Corey Allen as an Associate Director of Advisory Services in our Houston office.  Corey brings over 20 years of public and corporate accounting, as well as consulting experience, across various industries, including oil field services, pipeline, manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy.  His areas of focus include SEC reporting, technical accounting (including fresh start accounting), internal controls and internal audits, pre-audit and IPO readiness, and business process transformation and improvement.

Corey creates innovative thinking on process transformation and improvement projects, identifying root causes for issues, process gaps, and recommendations. His technical background and experience allows him to create tailored solutions for each client.

Corey graduated with an MBA in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas.  When he’s not writing technical accounting memos or fulfilling his controllership duties, he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing, traveling and Houston Astros baseball games.  Corey loves to play in competitive softball and volleyball tournaments and is a dog dad to an eleven year old Chiweenie named Bailey.
